Name: Fredrick Lee Redington
Age: 21
Parents: Edward and Percilla Redrick
Pirate or No Pirate: No Pirate (Merchant)
History: Fredrick, or Fred as he likes to be called, was born on March 14 to a rich merchant and his wife, Edward and Percilla. Being an only child, Fred had free roam of their neighborhood, always getting into some kind of trouble or another. Then again, his parents didn't pay too much attention to him when he was young, so he had the time to make mischief while roaming the streets in search of his friends.
At the young age of ten, Fred was insistant of becoming a pirate, just to defy his father's orders to become a merchant, like himself. After a few years of hard struggle, Fred had no choice but to give in and follow his father's footsteps, although they weren't really the path for him. But he never had the guts to bring up the arguement with his father again, especially since, when he was but 13, his father became deathly ill.
When his father died, Edward gave everything to Fred, everything except what was given to Percilla, his wife. Percilla was heartbroken at her husband's death, but stayed cheerful for Fred's sake, as he was being privately tutored to follow in his father's footsteps by being a merchant. With his father dead and his mother grieving, he had no choice but to follow down that path.
Now at the younge age of twenty, Fred is becoming one of the most successful merchants in the world, but he finds himself being distracted. He never thought he would fall in love, but yet, he had managed to as he traveled around to find places to ship his goods. What choices will he make?
Appearance (a picture will do): ((Chad Michael Murray))
Example RP (one or two paragraphs): ((This is from a Hogwarts site where I play Nick, a Gryffindor...))
Nick sprinted into the great hall, trying to get away from the first year that had been chasing him. He spun around, muttering to the first year, whose name was something like Lindsay, “Leave me alone, or you’ll get it sooner or later.” Lindsay had just shot a random spell at him, leaving him stunned as he stood in the seventh floor corridor. He looked for one of his friends as he kept running, but could find no one. Finally, after a few minutes of long running, he reached the Great Hall, where, to his surprise, Lindsay followed him in. He couldn’t get away from the annoying Hufflepuff!
‘Why won’t she let me alone!? I’ve done nothing to her, but she won’t leave me be!’ Nick thought sighing, ‘Leave me alone! I’m just a fifth year... And I’m going to unleash my nasty side if you don’t let me go!’ Nick hated being mean, especially to the youngest years, but sometimes, he couldn’t help it at all. Being mean wasn’t usually his thing, but today, at least for the time being, it would be. Nick turned back to look at Lindsay saying, “What do you want?” When all he received was a shrug of the shoulders from the younger girl, Nick's temper started to rise.
Nick’s mind strayed for a minute, thinking of his father. Anger rose as his face turned a bit red, then returned to its normal color. He looked at Lindsay, a mere Hufflepuff from a pureblood, rich family. He couldn’t help but think,‘What does she have that I don’t have? Why does she deserve two loving parents when I have parents who could care less? Life totally isn’t fair...’
Nick began to come back to reality, after his small daydream, where his mind was just wandering. He looked at Lindsay again, raising his wand a bit, “What do you have to say for yourself? Are you happy that you chose to come after me now? What if I’d shoot a spell at you now?” He couldn’t help himself as he rambled on with questions for the younger girl. He looked sharply at the girl before lowering his wand. He could tell that Lindsay’s heart was beating hard in her chest, so he gave up for a second. ‘What are you doing?’ Nick thought quickly, ‘This is no way to make your father proud of you... Get that wand back up and fight... But then again, what if it’s just simple fun? Why should I do anything to a girl just looking for a bit of fun on a boring Saturday at Hogwarts?’
