Elizabeth sat in the small room in the bottom of the ship, thinking hard. How could she get Jack to tell Will what really happened? She couldn't let him get drunk; he would pass out before he had a chance, and Will would think he was talking out of his mind.
There was a knock on the door, and Elizabeth walked to it. Looking through the little hole nead the top of the door, she saw it was Jack.
Opening it, she said in a grave voice,
"We need to talk, Jack."

After Elizabeth had slapped him, Jack was curious to know if she really regretted what had perpetuated right before he had gone down with his beloved ship, the Black Pearl. So, bidding goodbye to the woman whose name still evaded him, he made his way down the hull of the ship; his main goal first to find Elizabeth. As he searched, many of the crew which he passed smirked brightly at their captain, for Jack's swagger had returned. That was a true sign that Captain Jack Sparrow was back.
Knocking on a door, Jack was pleased to find Elizabeth behind it. "We need to talk, Jack."
Of course they needed to talk - why else would he have tried to track her down. (Well, Jack could think of other reasons, but those were not to be revealed in polite conversation...well, he is a pirate, after all.) "I know, love," he started, hoping that she would not be as offended by the term as the other woman had been. A smirk graced his handsome yet weather-worn features as he took a couple steps into the room. "I suspect you want me to talk to dear William, eh?"

"I suspect you want me to talk to dear William, eh?"
Elizabeth moved so Jack could come in and she sat back down where she was. "Yes, Jack, I want to talk about Will," she said. "He doesn't want anything to do with me ever since he saw me...well, you know," Elizabeth really didn't want to bring up this topic, but she knew it had to be talked to about.
"Jack, you need to tell Will that it meant nothing," Elizabeth said, with the same power in her voice she had on the deck with Christine.

"Yes, Jack, I want to talk about Will."
Well of course she did; after their little passionate 'rendevous' on board the Pearl, anyone would want to discuss their standings. And Jack knew that, for Elizabeth, their conversation would be extremely significant due to the fact that she was engaged to Will. That single factor threw a wrench into the works, for as much as Jack was attracted to Elizabeth, he also harbored a sense of honor and comradeship concerning young Mr. Turner. They certainly were in an interesting predicament, a bizarre love triangle if you will. One thing was for certain: this wasn't going to be easy.
"He doesn't want anything to do with me ever since he saw me...well, you know. Jack, you need to tell Will that it meant nothing."
Ah, if only it was that simple. First of all, Jack hadn't even known that Will had glimpsed their kiss; he had inferred as much, but it was more of an inkling of suspicion than firm belief. Now that he knew, however, he felt more than inclined to do something - what that turned out to be was yet to be determined. Jack longed to claim Elizabeth as his own, even though the infamous pirate wasn't one to commit. Yet what could he do about Will? The lad had saved his arse more times than he could count, and here Jack was, trying to steal his girl. That just wouldn't work. "Well, Lizzie," he began, "There remains the question as for whom it meant nothing. You can't speak for others that aren't yourself, love."
As he concluded, many would undoubtedly have expressed shock; Elizabeth's reaction was yet to be construed. Was Captain Jack Sparrow actually being serious? "But," he continued, his face hard to read. "If you want me to talk to your dear William, I guess I 'ave no choice in that matter."

""If you want me to talk to your dear William, I guess I 'ave no choice in that matter." Elizabeth was suprised; she didn't expect Jack to give in so easily. There just has to be a catch to this, she thought.
"You'll tell him that it didn't mean anything, right? Cause it didn't," she said with some difficulty.
